We only host one function a day.

Ceremonies

Garden ceremony; in the garden at the venue which offers a breathtaking
ocean view.
Beach ceremony; on a nearby beach which is only a few minutes’ drive
from the venue.
Church; there are a few beautiful churches in the area.

Reception hall

The hall can take up to 120 people seated with a dance floor, 140 without a dance floor, and 250+ for a cocktail set-up.

Catering

We have a selection of mouth-watering menus for you to choose from.

Self-catering

We allow self-catering functions. Information available on request.

Q. Is there a minimum amount of guests required?

Yes. Please enquire about our seasonal rates and booking requirements.

Q. What is the cut-off time?

A function is a standard 8 hours (Starting from guest arrival) This does not include the set-up time. Eg. Morning function: 8h00 to 16h00, Afternoon function:16h00 to 24h00. A venue hire fee for every hour thereafter will apply. Blue Horizon Estate closes at 24h00. at 23h30 unless alternate arrangements 2 have been made. Extensions are only allowed until 02h00am as per our liquor license.

Q. Can we do our own décor?

No.

Q. Do you provide a service for flowers & décor?

Yes we do. Our team works very closely with our in-house Florist – Ruva Décor Design, and together they will see to all your floral and décor needs. After your first consultation with your venue coordinator, you will receive a quote from Ruva Décor Design based on your unique preferences. You can take comfort in the fact that your professional venue coordinator will assist you every step of the way, to ultimately create and design the wedding of your dreams.

Q. Do you allow self-catering?

Yes. If you are interested in this option then please forward an email to

Q. Do you make wedding cakes?

Yes we do. Our Head Chef is extremely talented and can create a delicious wedding
cake that will reflect your own unique character & sense of style as a couple.

Q. How do I secure a booking?

You would need to email the proof of payment (please see the quote to confirm the payment required to secure a booking), along with a signed copy of the terms and conditions. You can pay by cash deposit or EFT. (We regret no credit card or cheque payments allowed). The first payment amount is then deducted from the total amount due 21 days before the wedding date.

We can literally take care of everything for you so that you can both have a magical time with your loved ones, and enjoy every memorable moment of the celebrations…Stress free!
